Let’s talk about prohibitions within cybersecurity organizations. Sometimes it’s easier to simply decide on behalf of your organization that certain actions are going to be prohibited or banned within your organization than it is to try and build security around those actions, especially when you don’t need to be doing whatever this activity is, right? 

 

So, for example, if you don’t need to post FCI in places where it can be at risk of external access, then you might have a prohibition on doing that within your organization rather than try and build all the safeguards around, you know, putting FCI in third party systems, just as a, you know, one example.
